In the Virtual Teen community, many members form friendships and such with other peers. It's common to see two or more members wanting to keep in touch and talk about their lives. While private-messaging is available for members, an instant conversation feels much better. This is why we have chat rooms (using FlashChat).

This chat is flawlessly integrated within the forums and can easily be used. Online buddies, as well as acquaintences and new members, can use the chat room anytime of the day. The discussion is always open to anything. However, since there is rarely moderation, a filter is used to keep the langage calm and cool.
