Well, I can assure that cutting won't change anything. Everything that makes you want to cut will still be there afterwards.

I'm glad you're going to a help centre. If you let it, you should start to get better. But you have to let it work for it to make any difference. Go in there wanting to get better, and let them help you.

Again, cutting won't change a thing, so in a way, it's pretty pointless. At the time it might not seem so, but it really is, because not only are all your problems still there, but you'll have a new mark on your body to cover up and scar.

Remember that no one needs to cut, but you want to. You don't need it, no one does. If you don't need it, and it doesn't help, then what's the point?

you can talk to me anytime if you need to, just drop me a PM

Cutting really aint going to help.
after the intial feeling, the same problems are still going to be there and you will the added factor that you self harmed.

In life there are going to be some things that are going to make iit hard to smile.

But whatever you do..through all the rain, and the pain, you gotta keep your sense of humour; you got to smile for me now.

Remeber that!

I agree with everything those 2 said ^^
Georgia said you have to LET the therapy work. If you go in there with the attitude of "I want to get better" you will learn and recover so much more quickly, rather than going in there and saying "I'm hopeless" or "I can't do it".
Of course if you don't WANT to get better, then no one can truly help you until you do.
You may not see it/think it, but you have a lot to get better for, you've got your whole life and so many things that will come with it - resist self harming to make that part of your life better, the part that you CAN change, the future. Rather than focusing what's happened in the past that's upset you and you can't change it.

Hope this helps, keep your chin up hun!
