Haha, a P101 thread from me.
![]() So, I know that your periods can take a while to regulate themselves, I thought it was about a year or so? Buttt, I have been having mine for almost 2 years, and there is still pretty much no regularity. Sometimes for like 3 months, I'll get one each month, other's I can go up to 4 months without having one. Should they start getting more regular pretty soon? It's kinda annoying never knowing when I'm going to get it. [It's FEARLESS to have faith that someday things will change. FEARLESS is having the courage to say goodbye to someone who only hurts you, even if you can't breathe without them. And when someone apologizes to you enough times for things they'll never stop doing I think it's FEARLESS to stop believing them. Letting go is FEARLESS. But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after.] ~Laura was here~

It took about 3 years for mine to become somewhat regular(I've had mine for about 3 1/2 years), but I still can't always predict when mine will come. everybody is different, right? so your period might take its own sweet time to become regular, they have a mind of their own :\

It's a shame when periods are not regular. I've had mine for about 3 years, and mine still aren't regular. They just pop up whenever they want during the month.
My post was just to put you're mind at rest really. You're not wierd or anything, and you should feel more comfortable now knowing that myself along with the girl above me have/are still going through the same situation

Autumn you gotta consider that you are a very active person, you do lots of sports.
Physical activity can delay or stop your periods for months at a time. That could be one reason, another could be that you are just an irregular, by which i recommend that you get on the pill. |

I've had mine for 6 years and it's still not regular. Mine still doesn't fall on an exact date. There's nothing wrong with when you get your period. Also I don't know how thin you are, but that sometimes has an effect on your period regularity.

i was told by the time you're 18 if they're not regular there's a problem.
also paula's right. the whole super activity thing + stress = periods don't come. can't have a baby if you're pushing yourself to limits in sports ya know

And I'm honestly not THAT active. And well, my stress level COULD be lower, but yeah. And I'm not pushing myself to limits. ![]() Quote:

Haha, you know what's weird? Couple hours I posted this, guess what paid me a little visit? It got a little nervous hearing me talk about it, so it figured that it would be a good idea to show up.

It wasn't that we were working that hard. It was the fact that none of us did anything over the summer so it seemed like we were dying. By the end of the season, these practices will be nothing.

I've been having periods for over 4 years now, and they are only just getting predictable, Or so I thought, I didn't have one for 6 weeks, then 2 in 10 days. I can't explain it, but stress plays a HUGE roll in it.
If you're really worried, you can try going on the pill, but when you are actually on the pill you don't have periods, just withdrawal bleeds. So it's not the same at all. If you really want to regulate them...talk to your GP about going on the pill...as that would regulate them

Wrong! You don't have periods at all when on the pill. It works by stopping your hormones from thickening the uterus/womb lining and your ovaries from releasing an egg. The bleeding you get when you stop taking it for 7 days is a withdrawal bleed, not an actual period.
