Default Do people treat you like?

I have ocd and I have noticed that when I tell teachers they sometimes begin to treat me like I'm stupid or handicapped. I'm not being conceited, but I am very intelligent, but when I tell a teacher at the beginning of the school year that I have ocd, they treat me this way. Eventually they usually realize after a while that I am intelligent, but for the first couple of weeks they act this way. However, other students don' act like this bothers them. Has this happened to anyone else?

Me, exactly..

But when I don't tell the teacher, I get yelled at for the ritualistic things I do, lol..
