Question Acne on Back and Arms

Is this normal because I have some acne on my arms and some on my back as well. Is this something I should worry about?

Its fine, nothing to worry about.

People who get acne slightly worse than others do get them in different places. I know several of my friends who have acne that goes down their back, on their shoulders and their arms. Its uncommon, but normal!

Not every gets body acne, but it's not uncommon, especially among athletes. Typically it has t do with sweat and oil clogging your pores so, if you can't take a shower after gym class, try bringing some wet wipes to school to keep in your P.E. locker. When you change back into your normal clothes, use a wipe to clean your arms and what you can reach of the affected areas of your back. Be sure to shower daily. Also, what may help a bit, is investing in a loofa. When you wash your body in the shower, use the loofa as opposed to your hand, and don't be afraid to scrub a little. This helps knock off any dead skin, which may be contributing to clogged pores. If, after a few weeks, you notice no difference, see a dermatologist for some better advice and perhaps for some creams to help encourage things to clear up.

I have acne on my back an arms as well, loofahs work but sun works the best. Try tanning outside on a warm day other than the fact that sun does give you skin cancer it does wonders to those with acne. Also I reccomend that even though you dont really need it to see a dermatologist, they can tell you some great ways to take care of acne.

Sun can take care of acne because it dries it out. Medicated creams do the exact same thing, without the risk of cancer. Would you rather pay a few bucks for that and/or (shock horror) deal with acne for a little while (because, worst case scenario, it should go away by the end of puberty as your skin produces less oil), or get rid of the acne (temporarily I might add) and have skin cancer later on in life? Even if you're not excessively tanning, all sun exposure does damage to your skin. My family is composed of rather fair-skinned people, and even though none of them go out to tan, and we all wear sunscreen when we're out for a long period of time, both of my parents and two of my grandparents have had at least one pre-cancerous spot removed by the dermatologist. My mom has a 3 inch scar on her leg due to the removal of a spot the size of a large pea (they have to take out a good-sized chunk of flesh to get all of the cancer cells out). So, lesson learned: NEVER go tanning. For color, get some tan-in-a-can, and for acne, take care of your skin.
