Default Compassion and Generosity

I have been exploring the wonders of Buddhism and the teachings of the Buddha recently and it has led me to discover something about compassion.

"If you want to be happy, practice compassion."

-His Holiness, Dalai Lama

If you give to people, it makes you happy. If you ask for things and try to get things for yourself, then in the end those things will cause you some form of unhappiness. Give to others and spread positivity. That is the key to obtaining true happiness.

That is pretty insightful and true. I feel happy when I help someone out. It's good to feel that little sense of accomplishment.

Very wise, and very true. I find many Buddhist principals to point toward happiness.

Always here to help. Don't hesitate to PM me.
