Default Problem with keyboard

So my pc's keyboard has some buttons (v g f) which are doing random things now. Sometimes I press the keys but the letter is not typed in, and other times when I type once there two or three letters appear. It's really annoying, does anyone know how to fix this?

Example--- I'm typinggg this normally.

If the keyboard is quite old, I think the contacts are worn out. It wouldn't be worth repairing it (Unless it is something vintage that would be worth restoring). Buy a new keyboard.

But first, try unplugging and plugging back in the keyboard. If it is using PS 2 ports, you will need to restart your computer.

Is it a laptop computer?

But if you press an affected key and wait, does it do anything? What happens if you press again?

If it is a laptop computer, contact your manufacturer if you still have warranty.
If it is a desktop computer, try using a different keyboard.

It's a laptop computer and I don't have warranty left. Any suggestions on what's causing this problem?

Plug in a USB keyboard. What happens if you type using an external keyboard?

You mean your external keyboard doesn't do anything?

That might mean that there is an issue with the keyboard sensor pad.
But first, see if you can remove the key using a paperclip. Be careful not to break the key. Remove dust and other gunk out, and clean the rubber thing (Not sure what it is called). Turn on your computer, and try typing by pressing down the rubber. Does it work?
