Default Growth test

So, it has come to my attention through my physical education class that we could predict future growth by performing the height = armspan test. I guess was told that our height was supposed to be equal to our arm span and if it is not proportional and our armspan is longer, that hints to possible growth in height.

My question is fellow teens, is this true? Does someone have an answer or relevant story?

In a lot of cases the arm spam is equal to height. But also some are longer and some are shorter. But your theory does prove to be very plausible.
