Default Is beer safe?

Is it fine for a 19 year old girl to consume alcohol? By alcohol I mean only beer, probably on an average of ones a month. Is it safe? What do you think could be the health issues?

A beer a month won't do any harm, especially when the liver has enough time to process it all easily with little to no damage. In the UK the drinking age is 18 so I mean it is perfectly fine

Yes, it is safe. It takes about 3 days for your liver to return to normal state afterwards. Some say it might even be beneficial, or is it for wine? I don't remember, don't hold me on that. Just don't overdo it. Getting drunk or even worse, getting wasted is a bad thing which I had plenty of.

I don't think that the situation you've described would cause a health issue. Keep in mind that there is alcool in beer. It isn't water. It does count as a drink.

Some beers have a nice amount of vitamins in it. Mead is also really good, no wonder vikings called it the nectar of the gods. A beer every once in a while really won't hurt you, just don't drink it every day, that may cause problems with your liver. A beer every friday to chill out definitely won't do much harm.

Small amounts, actuality, have more befits than drawbacks.

Beer really isn't very strong. One bottle or can of beer usually contains one shot of alcohol. And one month, that is more than enough for the beer to be processed so it won't do much damage.

Having 1 beer a month isn't going to change your body. You wouldn't have a beer belly like other people that drink daily and in large quantities, so I think you'll be ok. You'll definitely experience the dizziness drunk people get when they drink, since it is your first time. Your body might build a tolerance to being drunk, but I wouldn't suggest you try it for just that.

I agree with everyone here that drinking only 1 beer a month really won't do any harm to you. Beer has a low alcoholic content.

Many have claimed some red wine can be goo for you (obviously they're not talking about drinking a bottle a day or anything like that).

A beer a month is not going to hurt you in itself. Some people can become an addict/alcoholic from the very first drink. I know alcoholism runs in my family (a lot of people have struggled with it in the past) and it is one of the reasons I never started drinking.

So, obviously we aren't to encourage any illegal behaviors on this site, health strictly speaking, a beer itself a month shouldn't be a major deal at all.

One beer a month is no problem at all.
Some studies even show that drinking a bit of alcohol every day is healthy (some others say that it's not btw).

It's like with literally everything: if you take small enough amounts, it's perfectly fine.

If you are referring to her age by "illegal behaviour": in most countries the legal age of drinking is 16, 18 or 19.

I'm les, feel free to contact me

I didn't notice she was from Canada. in the VT community you are not supposed to support illegal behavior but in her case being from Canada that isn ot an issue at all. I did know that but thanks for clarifying
