Default I'm not anorexic, but I'm pretty damn close

I do not have anorexia. I eat, but not alot. And anytime I do I have to be careful and eat slowly or I might vomit and it's really pissing me off. I'm not sure if I'm just not hungry or of its linked with anxiety? I'm seeinga doctor and they said it's just linked with anxiety and so did my girlfriend but I'm not sure. It's weird. Anyway, thanks for your help xx

I'm really sorry you're going through this buddy! If it is what the doctors are saying then I would trust them Do they have a plan for treating you? Try you make sure you're getting enough food, even if it's hard

Hi =),

From family experience I understand it's hard =( ; But typically anorexic's tend to see themselves as overweight when in fact they are severely underweight. Unless you have these thoughts, you, probably are not developing anorexia.

Trust your doctors, Anxiety can have many affects on the body, affecting appetite , bowel movements, even arousal! For me when I had exams, I had zero appetite, eating made me feel super sick just like you!

MY best advice, avoid internet sites like WEBMD and Mayo Clinic; these sites cause anxiety to thrive; try to relax, to something fun, and try to relax.

If your symptoms to continue though, see a dietician or other specialist.

Relax =)

Hope this helps

I think you have chosen the right path going to your doctor. I think if you follow what your doctor recommends and work on dealing with your anxiety you will improve as time goes on. Good luck man.

I am gay and happy with that.
I love talking to people very open & willing to listen.
I am also glad to try help with questions or problems.
Hit me up for anything. I promise I don't bite.

I'm not an expert, but I think that a positive perspective on life kind of always helps.

I'm also not sure what makes you feel more comfortable with things in general, but I reckon that anything can help. Be it a book, a film, a person that you love, a landscape that you find amazing, a story that you adore, you may think of anything that you think it'll help you with your anxiety (or the the thing that you told us about).

What's more, perhaps it's better to think that your illness is not 'serious' although it may be hard to do so. This way, not only will you probably worry less about it (so you might become a happier person ) but you might also overcome it easier.

What do you think about all those people out there who went through a, what some might call, difficult situation and successfully dealt with it, or who had a disease and at some point pulled through it?
Even though, let's say, there would have been no one that fits that description, you might have thought that you'll be the first one in this situation (as inventors were the first ones who invented their inventions) and that you'll succeed in dealing with your issue.

I believe that if you don't give up on your dreams, you will achieve them.

“Nothing in this world is difficult, but thinking makes it seem so. Where there is true will, there is always a way.”
(Wu Cheng'en)

I hope you'll get better. I suggest that you stay positive

"No matter what happens in life, be good to people. Being good to people is a wonderful legacy to leave behind."
(Taylor Swift)

"Never give up on your dreams!"
"Stop complaining about fate and saying how it can't be changed!"
