Unhappy Traumatized By a nightmare.

So, when me and my family were driving, my dad, who was driving, suddenly, fell asleep.
So then we were going really fast forward, because no one was driving.
No one died or was hurt, but we were hopeless, it was a dream, and i am still scared. Now i scared to get in a car.

You've just got to differentiate between your dreams and reality. I used to have a very big problem with doing that but I eventually just calm myself down and realise that I'm not psychic and I'm not having future premonitions. It sound silly but I genuinely thought my dreams either already happened or were the future. Just try to realise that they really aren't.

yep pretty much with Jack said, even talk to a friend or someone, so they can help show you it was just a dream. sometimes even just saying it out loud to yourself can help you see how it cannot be true

I have the same problem quite often but it usualy only lasts like a week.
Getting in a car is always scary to me because of history with accidents.

What helps for me is just telling myself that I'm dreaming becasue I"m scared, not the other way around. Then just convince myself there's no reason to be scared.

shout at the world because the world doesn't love you

lower yourself because you know that you have to.
