Default College and SH

I have been clean from self-harm for around 4/5 months until last week when I began self-harming again, I have been doing it more and more like I used to do. However, I have now accepted that I need to talk to someone about it. I'm just wondering if someone has any tips that could help me explain to one of my tutors at College that I have been doing it (they do not know that I have a history of it). Is there any way that I could try and persuade them not to phone my parents or is it something that is inevitable. If it helps, I am 16 (17 this year).

I am from the UK.

Thank you, I hope to get a reply soon as I'm really nervous about this.

Have a good day,

If u have a student union at the college
u go to-there should b student advisors
that take concerns of their students. I
would look for someone like that where
they can keep things that u tell them
secret. IDK I wouldn't ask a tutor unless
u know one u think that well enough to
open up to.
