I feel that I am out of control when it comes to my eating. I can have my breakfast in the morning and the just keep eating all through the day and its DISGUSTING how much I can eat in one day. After I have gone on a binge, I feel like a waste and a horrible person and the worst of it is that I cant control myself and how much I eat. my mum will tell me i have had enough to eat but then i just get angry at her and start binging again.

I am FAT and I hate myself, I need some help Please

Well, do you know why you go on these binges? It could be caused by a number of different triggers, depression, low self-esteem etc. It's also important to involve your family and make them aware of your problem and your wish to end this behaviour.

Another important thing is to remember who you are, really. To get through something like this you can't be hating on yourself or thinking any less of yourself than what you really are, perfect. If you slip psychologically it can be even harder to recover emotionally and physically.

I recommend going to meet with a psychiatrist or someone who practices and understands abnormal psychology, more than I do at least.

well, the food you eat has a huge effect on you. one thing you could do is change what you eat. add more fruits and vegetables in your diet,.... like a lot.

If you eat healthy whole natural foods (not tryna sound like a hippy) you WILL be filled up more, and you WILL binge less. And if you binge, you'll gain less. Also, if you are doing something like excercise, it will probably keep your mind of food.
Really hope this helps ):

@cheesee: Valid points, but the real issue with binging is that it is (often) caused by psychological stressors etc. Being hungry is never the real problem.

You're most likely using food to fill a void, as in trying to compensate for feelings of emptiness or sadness, if you get what I mean? Once you start you can't stop.

You need to get to the root of your problems by getting help and support from others. Especially from an eating disorder specialist. You need to find out what's triggering these binges, because if you don't you'll just continue to binge and end up on square one again.

Honestly I know what it's like to be stuck in a rut of starving, binging and purging all over again in one vicious cycle. It's horrible and frustrating. The only thing that helped me was pinpointing exactly why I was doing this to myself and what was going on in my life that was triggering me to do all of this. You may find it useful to write a list of all these things down and show it to your psychologist.

Best of luck!
