Default Counting Stairs

I have always counted stairs, and memorised them

eg

My house - 15
The Bus - 9
School- 12
THe Airport- 30

etc.

Is this OCD, as i do it everytime and feel really weird if i miscount

Guys don't scare him like that. Unless it's really negatively affecting your life and you can't function without doing the tendecy then you're fine. I'm sure if you put your mind to it and not make a big deal of it I'm sure you'll manage. Just live life and don't let it bother you.

I have O.C.D. and I have found ways to get rid of my habits....with my therapist.

I know how you get a bad feeling in your body when you don't do these "superstitions"(thats what I call them).

This is my main way of getting rid of the habits. I think by doing these habits, what is it getting in the way of.I stop for a day or two maybe I can see. Then after those days of weird feelings, bad thoughts, thinkWow I did it!.

Even if you think "If I don't do these superstitions I will have bad luck" still try to do a half a day.....remember by doing this you will have a "habit-free" life.
