Default Symptoms of ADD/ADHD.

What are some of the symptoms of ADD/ADHD, and is it possible to develop in the teenage years, especially around the onset of puberty? After I began puberty I began losing concentration in things that didnt interest me. I began to ignore people, and teachers in classes. And I was wondering, do i have it? And dont tell me to look on Google. I have my own, personal, reasons for not googling it.

lets say you dont have it. and you start askin and reading about the sypmtoms then you get it stuck in your head that omg i have ADD/ADHD dont let this happen. Everyone loses concentration and thats not even close enough to be evidence for this mental disease.

Im not paranoid about having it. If I do think I have it, ill ask an expert. There are ways of testing right?

Thanks man. Really helped. I scored a 54.

Nothing can fill the void in my heart. The loss is great, but the fear of loss is even worse. I know how it feels to be hurt. I know how it feels to hate oneself. I know how it feels to be alone. And I want you to know... I'll do anything and everything I can to help. Just PM me. I'll be waiting.

Online tests are useless. There is no way you can tell if you have ADD/ADHD, or any other disease/mental illness. Those tests, at best, give you some idea as to whether or not you may have it, but don't base anything off of what you find on it.

Most likely, I doubt you have ADD/ADHD. It is very over diagnosed, and most likely you are just losing interest in things that you don't like. If this is becoming a problem, before you look to label it as something, see if there is a way you can concentrate a little more on what you need to do, pay more attention, etc...

If you truly feel there is no way you can do that, then talk to your GP. Licensed physicians are the only ones who can tell you for sure; not internet tests, nor anyone here.
