Unhappy This is getting out of control.

I can't focus. At all. I've never been able to, even when I was younger, but it keeps getting worse and worse and worse. I literally cannot do my homework. Everyone thinks it's just because I don't want to, but I literally just can't sit down and do it. My grades are starting to fall, or at least the ones that depend on that. My mom is angry with me. All these thoughts go through my head, about 80 million different, unrelated topics. I can't even concentrate enough to write this post, to be honest. I've had it open for probably 15 or 20 minutes, but I keep switching tabs on the internet and doing things with my hands as well. I fidget, always. My pens and pencils get destroyed. I can't finish anything. I forget things. I can't pay attention in class. I always feel restless. I can't keep doing this forever. I need to find a way to calm this down. I want to be able to function normally, and be able to finish things I start. And do my homework. And pay attention. And hold a normal conversation. But I don't know what I should do. Does anyone have any tips on learning to focus or deal with any of these restless habits?

I can't really talk to a doctor until I'm 18. I just need to find some way to cope with this stuff for the time being.

Talk to your teacher or a family member and ask for help. If you have a family doctor ask him/her to help get u to see a specialist that can diagnose you with adhd and get you on meds if you want if not you can still learn some great coping skills without using meds

First of all mate, try to calm down by thinking of something that makes you happy, or use a stress ball if you have one, helps alot to like release any tension or anger you may have. Then to concentrate more, maybe have like a timetable of when to do stuff, like your homework, watch tv, chat on the internet, and then go somewhere you wont be distracted. When I was in college, when it came to doing my coursework, I always ended up getting distracted by something, so I decided to split my time up and then just concentrate like an hour on just pure work. If you have so many thoughts, maybe talk to someone, like a friend, doctor, mod, random person, just like get it all out, should feel better when you have. Anyway good luck mate, need anymore help let me know
