Technically I'm reading Diary Of A Wimpy Kid "Hard Luck" but I got bored half way through, stopped and haven't continued because of demotivation and my head's in a mess

Just read Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy which was quite good. Most likely going to move onto the follow up trilogies in that universe once Finals are over.

I'm reading Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight. I originally picked it up a few weeks ago, got a hundred pages or so in, and then decided to read something else. I'm picking it up again now and I've gotten through another hundred pages in about a day. It's proving difficult for me to read because of the subject matter.
I love the Divergent trilogy, though many were let down by the last. Didn't get to see the movie yet because of school, but have heard some good things.

Read this on the plane back from Maine at the end of summer. Was really enjoyable, the series surprised me I never expected it to be so good.

You're an author? Awesome! Which genre?
I'm currently in the midst of improvising and editing for my first novel.

Science fantasy I'm working on a (planned) five book series. I need to beef up the second one a bit later this year, but hopefully after that the third will be started.

I love hearing that others share this passion. The first time I succeeded in finishing a story, I went on the most magical journey I've ever experienced, and it wasn't even due to the story itself. I feel like it isn't a common enough hobby for how wondrous and rewarding it is. I think it's because writing a novel seems rather intimidating when the only necessarily difficult thing about it is overcoming the blank page anxiety. Of course writing well is another story, but you can't edit a blank page.

I just finished Taking South Park Seriously.

I'm halfway into Escape from Camp 14 now, an informative book detailing the life of a North Korean defector who grew up in one of the concentration camps there. (Yes, Concentration Camps in North Korea are very much a reality today and have been for 60 years, an estimated 200000 people are captive within them at the moment)

The Lost Boy by Dave Peltzer. Such a sad story.
