Default Fire and adhd

Basically I have adhd and I am obsessed with lighters and matches.
My mum had found 2 lighters in my room and 2 packs of matches.
She's really angry but doesn't understand why I like them. I don't smoke anything, I just find it really soothing to watch the flames. It makes me really sad because she thinks I've been lighting things on fire but I haven't.
My dad lost his leg because he was playing with lighters at my age but that still doesn't stop me. If he finds out he will get so angry.
Does anyone have any advice at all?

maybe try to find something else to get your attention on. possibly seeking out professional help. you have to understand why your parents would be concerned, esp if your dad lost his leg playing with lighters at the same age you are

if you're going to do that I'd say take it outdoors, preferably somewhere with pavement. they're concerned that you're going to burn the house down, maybe not intentionally but it's still a risk and a burned down house is a burned down house.

Maybe you can find an alternative, something like a flame but safer
