Default Blood in Urine

I have recently been diagnosed with Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction... basically thereís blood in my urine but Iíve had it since birth, Iím a guy and just wanted to know how it will affect my sexual health and experiences.

That is a great question, but your most important issue right now is to make sure your kidneys are functioning properly as opposed to thinking about sexual health. Chances are you had some sort of surgery to get your ureters working again so that your kidneys can drain properly and so that you can urinate properly.

As for sexual health, can you get erections and ejaculate? Assuming you can get boners and can ejaculate I think you should be all right sexually. I think your biggest problem will be your kidney and removing urine from you body.

You definitely should follow up with your urologist and be open and honest with your issues. Let us know what happens because your situation is definitely unique.

Any questions u have about ur
sexual health and ur diagnosis
should b brought up with your
doctor. U don't have to go into
detail just ask how it might or
not affect puberty.
