Default Dyatlov pass incident.

Evening everyone.
A month ago, Russian Prosecutor's Office re-opened oneof the most loudest and most (in)famous hiking incidents of 20th century for further investigation after 60 years. I wanted to hear your opinion on this matter and your versions of what kind of terrifying things took the place that time there.

Why? We all know that was aliens. (Yes that was sarcasm)

I think its great they want to try again to solve the case, who knows maybe by using modern technology they might find out what happened

From what I have read, there are numerous explanations of what happened to the hikers in the Urals. But, IMHO, I would say that the Soviet military may have been the culprits as they may have been conducting military exercises in that area with artillery and parachute mines. Unfortunately, the hikers were caught up in this exercises and tried to flee. When they were discovered dead by Soviet authorities, these authorities did not want to implicate the military in this tragedy. So, the authorities just covered it up and no one ever questioned that decision until now. This is just my feelings on what really happened.
