One time for 7 hours got only one fish of some kind.It was light dark and about six inches.

I've never caught anything as big as Emily, but sure would have kept that one and eaten it!!!!!!

I fish once in a while, it can be either lots of fun or boring depending if the fish are interested in the bait...... but it's a nice afternoon with my dad or some friends.

TBH I'd much rather go hunting than fishing. It's way easier to see what you are going after when they are above ground instead of hiding under the water.

A couple of years ago I got a 12-point buck that had to be around 250-275 pounds. My mom helped dress him and we ate the meat for months afterward, having frozen much of it. I've got other smaller ones before and after that. We'd seen that one in our back yard for a few years, but I got him out in the woods maybe a mile or so back and had help getting him out afterward. Country girls do go hunting
