I'd say it's just as important to protect both of them. Perhaps the little one is most important since it usually does most of the thinking.

I think we already know the answer to that. Jokes aside, despite that I don't have those things hanging there, I would never play any sports without protection today. Hurts bad enough for us to get hit there.

Not many wear them here either, insane but true. I suppose it's better to risk not being able to reproduce than look silly, we can't have that.

Keep in mind - some of the guys said on here even though they donít wear a hard cup, they wear a jock. That still gives you some protection, like you said, itís not necessarily a hard ball like a baseball coming at you.

That said I might err toward a cup if I really wanted to play it safe. Iím sure itís better protection out of the two!

ya I I could not play wearing a cup. You just don't need it unless your a Goalie . Wearing just a jock or compression shorts are really the best. Jockstrap will give ya the best mobility and support.

might have been. it just rubs on your legs when you do a lot of running. Don't think you really need it anyway for soccer. I will just keep with a regular supportive jock. Works for me.

I know when I had a cup for baseball I had to make sure the jock was very tight or else it slid around and rubbed thing wrong lol.

I guess a regular jock at least keeps everything tucked up out of the way. Less of a target maybe.

I wear a cup for lacrosse which has a lot running like soccer. The cup needs to be tight and not move around. My brother and other guys wear a cup for varsity soccer. Most guys on JV wear just a jock

Yeah itís just gotta be a tight enough jock to hold it in place... canít be buying a bigger size just cause itís cool to say itís a large lol.

For soccer do you wear the same jock without the cup, or a regular jock without a cup pouch?

I play soccer at least once a week and never got hit in the balls. And during the last 3 years I play it in school there were only 2 accidents. One goalkeeper got hit by ricochet ball that hit the pole and one guy got hit with ball into nuts but neither of those two was serious, both came back to game after 1-2 minutes

I play soccer often. Usually never get hit there. But , Id never wear boxers or even boxerbriefs. I prefer to have some decent support. Jockstraps seems to be the most comfortable and supportive up lifting for all the running. In the summer there a lot cooler option too.
