Default muscles

So, i am an active person, but don't currently work out.
I used to be skinny, but had an accident and was on crutches for 3 months, and gained 10kg's. Wanting to get my weight back down and tone up a little.

Any suggestions on some simple but effective things to do? exercises?

It depends on what you're able to do physically at this point. But to lose weight, and along with diet, you need to do some aerobic exercise. Running is a great way to lose weight, but biking or even walking is good if you can't run. Lifting weights a couple of times of week will help with toning. But if you don't have access to weights, google some exercises that you could do at home (like pushups and things).

I think just walking will help you gain back some muscle tone and loose some weight. Also swimming is great exercise.

I am gay and happy with that.
I love talking to people very open & willing to listen.

I swim a lot so I guess I have what is called a "Swimmer's Physique". Slim (but not skinny) with some decent abs and muscle tone.

If u were on crutches I wouldn't try
anything too physical dealing with ur
legs until ur sure whatever ur problem
healed itself but for upper body I would
try fly weights.

I would recommend starting out with basic stretching and physical rehab for your leg. Then start to do calisthenics and fixing your diet. Just this will start to build your strength and start to lose fat. If you have access to a gym or have a home set up, start off with light weights and work yourself up.

A huge thing though for cutting weight is DIET! and SLEEP! Get plenty of rest and cut sugars, unhealthy fats, etc from your diet. Eat more veggies and greens, eat clean proteins like chicken and fish (cut red meat if you’re trying to lose weight), and drink plenty of water. Once you start to stretch, start to build yourself up to workout. Tell us how it goes!

Cardio - run, bike, swim, play sports that make you constantly run (soccer, basketball). Weights - bench, curls, lat pulldowns, flys, lots of ab/core, and lots of body weight stuff (pushups, pullups, tricep/body raises)
