I hadn’t seen this until now but it’s kind of interesting. I haven’t really noticed anyone wearing them but I haven’t really been looking for them

The sort shown in the first picture in your link were popular here about 10 years ago when I was a very little girl. Mostly people who actually rode bikes wore them, but you def rarely saw them anywhere else and people didn't wear them to parties or to go shopping. I don't see anyone wearing them now so they must have dropped out of style years ago.

I like snug fitting things that show off my butt so if they became popular again I might consider wearing the sort shown on the girls in the other pictures, if they came in white and were somewhat shorter, I really don't care for shorts extending to my knees or nearly so at all.

It's funny you say it is old fashion because i have seen them in Vogue and other magazines this summer saying it's fashion again..

It has nothing to do with bicycling.

I've never seen anyone wear those unless they are on a bicycle. I think they're too long and too high waisted. I know a lot of girls including myself that will wear Nike pro shorts around however.

I might have to get a pair!
I think it's gross to wear them if they are all sweaty and showing sweat.
Otherwise, it is a neat trend, I could wear them occasionally for show and occasionaly for exercise as well.
Some of them look cute on girls. But the color matters. Don't wear an ugly color or style

It seems to me that here in rural America, fashion isn't in most peoples vocabulary, only a few seem to follow any recent styles, and I'd bet that most of the girls in my high school never heard of Vogue....... nearly everyone buys their clothes at Wal-Mart as it's the only thing of any size unless you want to drive an hour to the city to attend a shopping mall.

I'm no fan of those to be honest. I prefer to wear jeans or other fitting trousers when riding a bike, but to each their own.

I agree. I like how snug fitting they are on my body and they allow me to show off a little too.

Bike shorts probably have special stitching or fabric to make it as comfortable as possible for riding a bike. actual bike shorts also have padding in the back area so it is more comfortable to ride for long journeys. they are also skin tight as so to be as aerodynamic as possible.

yoga shorts are probably less skin tight, have no padding and probably do not have this special stitching style. however i imagine that the fashion bike shorts will also just be like this...

in my opinion, i would just leave it to the celebrities. not my sort of thing at all.
