Default Favorite educational youtube videos

I love watching educational stuff on youtube and love to learn new things.

My favorites

World Science Festival

https://www.youtube.com/user/worldsciencefestival

Cosmos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfCc...vrC6bKXotys8KJ

Will add more as I remember stuff.

If you are aspiring for a career as a doctor, these two vlog channels below are amazing! They are great even if you no interest in becoming a doctor too, they give you a much better understanding of the obstacles your doctor has had to go through to get to where they are today. I have more respect than ever for them.

Vlog about the life of a medical resident

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCia...jIeCgfz8TLXg9Q

Vlog about the life of a medical school student recorded over many years

https://www.youtube.com/user/americarox2007

I think a lot of educational videos are related to ramblings of the wise (like the ones I posted), this board doesn't get as nearly as active. I think everyone there would like it too!

Ramblings of the Wise is for debating; educational videos are a far cry from a debate Besides, our organization doesn't take activity into consideration; it's just how we organize the forum. But I don't want to derail your topic (especially because I'm interested in educational videos, lol), so if you have any further questions, please feel free to PM me or another staff member.

Will do, do the television shows would be appropriate at least? Youtube is pretty much TV for our generation!

Anyways, I will tag you in the post so that you are notified.

As funny and true as that is, this is primarily a topic about education, so I think it'll stay here for now. Sorry about that.

Thank you!

Did you ever watch those educational videos from Hank Green? Those things got me through APUSH. I also often found myself watching videos answering science questions I never even thought to ask.

Yes! He has some great content! What else do you like?

Okay, im sorry for bothering you about this again lol, gonna ask you one last thing. Will titling this 'thought provoking videos' make into ramblings of the wise? These are certainly though provoking videos as well!

I watch a lot of Khan Academy, lol. Those videos have saved me on multiple occasions.

And no, that's okay. But unfortunately not; this is still not really debate worthy.

Speaking of khan ackademy, this is another channel I really enjoy. It goes into a lot of depth on subjects, I use it to help with introductory to computer science class in school.

I catch my dad watching strange "educational" videos on youtube, and laughing hard. Some of them are an education on what not to do!
