Either:

1. Allow posts to go through immediately, at least if the person has already had a post approved in the thread. Moderators can review posts after the fact, or

2. Allow OPs to provisionally approve posts, subject to later review by moderators.

It's kind of annoying to have to wait for a moderator to approve a post before it shows up.

As mentioned in this announcement, you will see that if things are going well, we hope to turn off post moderation within the next couple of weeks. The staff agreed on this whilst the forum is still new. With the way the system is set up, only moderators can approve posts and not the OP.

We do try to check every so often whether there are new posts waiting to be approved, but with timezones/availability it might take an hour or two for posts to appear.
