Exclamation Rules of Grammar?

Hi I have a question about a forum page.
Under The Art Room forum has a section that says The Open Book.
Then there is a sticky that says Rules of Grammar.
I was wondering in order to post a poem on there, I dont have to follow all those rules right?...
Because in professional writings, there are many things on that list a writer (or a poet) would disagree on, and so would I...

So all I was wondering was can I post a poem even if it doesn't match up to the Rules of Grammar?

Yea you can post it. That sticky is just there as a guide not guidelines.

haha

Did you actually read it closely? every single is written in a contradiction to the rule it's stating.

No one actually expects you to follow it, but please use english grammar, not t|-|!$ [this]

Another query about that grammer thing. Is it american grammer or english grammer?
Not sounding poncy but there is a difference, mainly in spelling. But I was just wandering...

Unfortunately, not too many people use "perfect" grammar on the site. A good bit of members use sufficient grammar, and some people use perfect grammar most of the time. In any case, it would be hard to find someone that constantly uses perfect grammar.

Lol even I don't always use perfect grammar. I know, I know, it's hard to believe.

To the OP: No, in creative pieces it's not required to use perfect grammar. Write it however you want to write it. Don't let silly things like conventions of english hold you back! Lol I sure haven't.

To Requin: use whatever grammar you please...seriously, it's not like we have grammar police going through posts.

"ZOMG HE USED ENGLISH GRAMMAR AND NOT AMERICAN GRAMMAR IN THAT SENTENCE!!!111ONE!1 ONE BAJILLION INFRACTION POINTS FOR YOU, INSOLENT FOOOOL!!!!!!"
