Default Is this normal??

So yeah, this evening my brother, 8, got home from rugby. My sister, 10, who had developed mild blistery things from gymnastics and had put a few plasters on her hands went to open the door. As she was fumbling with the keys he ringed again, she yelled at him to be patient. When she finally opened the door (in 30 secs) he stuck his tongue out at her, she angrily replied "what was that for" he then proceede to throw a shoe in her stomach. In the meanwhile im upstairs running his bath. My Mum pushes him back outside again and then leaves him there for 8 minutes. when he comes back in genuinley sorry she then inorms him of something. Bear in mind me and my sister and my mum had all already had dinner at this point. He and my dad normally have burgers together after rugby. My mum informed him that he was having half a burger and his sister would have tye orher half. My sister had already had dinner. So they all go off and have burgers while im stuck here with no burger. I complain to my dad who then gets annoyed with me and starts charging ne money for moaning. Later on when I try to ask my dad a question to do with the post while shes talking with my brother she grabs the back of my neck neck with her (sharp) nails and dragges me towards the guest room and tells me to clean it (as it is messyy (my bro messed it up). Is that normal??

So you're angry that you did not get a burger? Is that really that important to you?
or have I still misunderstood it?

I DO NOT accept friend requests from GUYS!

Sounds like your parents are having some issues they are trying to make invisible to you. Their frustration is then shown in a completely other and wrong way. Your brother might have picked it up since he acted so strangely.
I'm just guessing

i would assume it's your parents are having a rough time so you being the oldest is the one that she just snapped on a bit.

as much as it shouldn't be your job, I would still try to just do what you can to keep things easy around the house while also keeping a low profile

Normal? Well it could be, I'm not sure. Life within a family is not always smooth sailing so to speak. Normal for your family? Maybe not if things like that don't happen often. As has already been said, there could very well be something going on and you should probably just try to be patient and understanding that your parents might be going through something stressful they don't want to tell their kids about right now/yet and so give them time.

You don't specify your age but as the older brother maybe you could try talking to your siblings or be the mediator between any conflicts they have and just try to be a good influence on them. Hope it goes well!

Thanks! I'm the 13 year-old older sister.

yea that would make it harder.

maybe ask if she can write it down so you don't forget what to do when you're done with one chore?
