Default Middle Child

Hi everyone,
So I am a middle child and I felt like I am being left out, like I am invisible. To all middle child, do you feel the same? How do you cope up with this feeling?

I am the youngest of 3, I don’t feel invisible but sometimes feel left out. My mom says I feel that way bc they are grown and I'm still dependent on them and not able to do the things they can do bc they are adults now. Think they want to keep me little forever. Hope that helps.

Got no siblings but have heard its a common feeling......not the oldest to feel grown up and treated as mature and not the youngest to be made a fuss of.
Maybe the only good thing is maybe the oldest has to take the blame if you all mess up.
Maybe being the middle is better than being the only one.

U shouldn't feel that u r left out. Ur the Big Bro
to ur youngest to guide them the way and ur the
Little Bro to the oldest for them to guide u. So
really u have a special place in ur family. U can
also b a mediator among ur siblings an friends
cause u r always trying to sort things out. Don't
feel that u r not appreciated even tho they may
not show it.

BTW-Im alone but wish I was a Big and Little Bro.

LOL! No, being the youngest, you get blamed for everything and get in trouble for everything…Everything is your fault.
But i have a good relationship with my big brother...he does look out for me and always has my back...

I get the feeling that no matter where you are, youngest, eldest, middle, whatever, you'll feel like the outsider.

I have 3 sisters and I constantly feel left out and like least favorite child and when I point out things to my parents they sort of are like yeah well you should understand blah blah blah you can’t be angry blah blah blah you’re a better person because of this... it sucks. But coping I mean idk you just have to accept that it’s the way it is and do things for yourself, get attention when you can. I’m not much help but I’m happy to listen if u need to unload bc I’m in the same situation

I am the third of four and I'm ok with the less attention, the better. My parents are ok with us being somewhat independent and making a lot of our own decisions. I'd much prefer that then them being on our backs about stuff.

I feel so lucky, I found my Dad and his family last year. I'm just so happy to have them now. I have 2 step brothers and a half sister.
