Same here. I've only done it a few times, but I could more. I even have some that I'm saving for a rainy day. It's relaxing.

And you know what? This whole weed is bad thing is ridiculous. Sure, it's not the greatest thing you can do for your body, but neither is fucking McDonald's.

its not that people are against you, its more people who are smoking weed for very social or medical reasons just letting you know that it works for some people.

You see even that sarcastic comment about the sharpie and gas station you don't realize that those two things are worse for you if you were to use them to get high than marijuana.

i only smoke because i feel so better and i cant stop laughing.

I've never seen a problem with weed really. I hate that there's people that go to my recovery school and their there just for weed, or when i go to some na group and there's kids their just for weed. It's not as big as a deal as most people think.
Alcohol is somehow legal, even though it's allot worse than weed at times.

I think teenagers are looking for a way to block out stress or show off. The group of friends i hung out that did it had rough childhood's and it helps them, then there's the people that do it so they can get attention.
I'm not recommending people to do it though because it is illegal for now, and i'm not going to go explaining medical reasons its used for because i know some people will say it's true while the others will call bullshit.

People think it has something to do with popularity because that's what anti-weed adults seem to think. You know, all the anti-weed commercials and shit always going on about how IT'S TOTALLY NOT COOL. Um, no one said it was, people. It's just FUN.

But people assume anyone kids do is only to be cool, not because they actually enjoy it. I guess it's because it helps to make it look like the kid is the victim, not the 'bad guy' - which all pot smokers are, of course.

This is an interesting point, about advertisement, I read an article a while back (I will try link it later if I can find it) Saying how the UK anti drug organisations were changing their approaches.

The basic point of the article was saying how current methods of attacking a drugs popularity are not working that they should edge towards showing the dangers,side effects and negative effects in a fair view. Summary of education about drugs rather than demonising them

No. not at all. this is worse in fact because they're tellign kids that when they smoke weed you get pukey, panic attacks and parinoid. You get parinoid because its ilegal, i get parinoid when i ride my bike on the sidewalk (its ilegal here). about 5% get pukey and this only happens when you smoke too much and i have anxiety disorder and i used it to stop my panic attacks. they also said it makes you see things, which is obviously not true since it is not a hallucinagetic.

Yeah, I looked at the weed part and I was like, wtf. That's bullshit.

I just don't want to either fuck up my life, body, or get in trouble with the cops. I don't know, I'm just a pretty straight edge kid I guess. Honestly I've just never seen the point. My cousin told me when asked him the point, all he said was "...to get high". Seriously I mean, give me 5 GOOD reasons to smoke weed (good luck with that), and then I'll even think about starting.

Why? Because it's not that illegal in some places (where I live you can use a bong and smoke it and it's not illegal if you don't have more than 5 ounces or grams), because of how widely it's used, friends, and peer pressure, or they just want to. That's why.

I don't smoke. I don't think it's right.

1.) great feeling.
2.) Makes all food taste better.
3.) allows me to watch and/or listen to things and actually enjoy doing so.
4.) It's like being in a cartoon sometimes (depending on who I pick off of).

i'll have to admit, those are really horrible reasons in my opinion.

You shouldn't be asking for reasons and then say "then i'll consider it" smoke weed if YOU want to, not because a list of reasons people tell you.

Everyones different, everyone smokes weed for different reasons.

Mine are that it helps my anxiety, my appitite, my adhd and its a much better anti depressant than any medication i've ever used.

Its quite easy, in Toronto where I live a lot fo my friends grow their own plants in their backyards and almost everyone i know has sold week themselves at one point or another.
