My brother

My brother skips school.. A LOT. My mom takes the Internet Router when he doesn't go to school, and since he skips school, all he does it play on his laptop.

One day, When my mom wasn't home, I put the Router in my Trumpet Case, and went to go put it in my friends car, since he had to take me to school.

Then, I was about to walk out of the door, he grabbed the case, but we're forturnel twins, so he's a lot stronger than me. I kept trying to pull the case, and the door was open, so I decided to go outside, and pull it from there.
Well, when I tried to get out the door, he closed the door on my leg, and started slamming it, but It didn't hurt, since my leg is flexible, and he stopped slamming my leg, and started pulling harder on the case. I stuck my head out of the door to call my friend for help, and he slammed the door on my neck, much more harder than he smashed my leg, so I tried to pull my neck from the door, and he started smashing my head. He smashed it about 5 times before I free'd myself from the door.

At that time, my friend came to the door to help me, but he still couldn't get it, and even his mom came to try to get it, he ended up scratching my friends hand really bad, and bruising my friends moms hand.

I've been sleeping at my friends house for a while, and I'm not sure If I want to go back to my house.
What should I do?

I would definitely tell somebody. Because it's that type of behavior that will land him in an asylum somewhere.

Do your parents know?

My mom knows, she tried sending him somewhere, but she didn't get to, for some reason.

After that situation, I started thinking slower. Is that normal after getting your head hurt a lot, or is it bad?

I would definitely see a doctor. And maybe your brother needs a psychiatrist, because that's definitely not normal.

I would go and see a doctor as soon as possible about your head, he could have done a bit of damage to it.

I would also talk to your mum about how you don't feel safe living in the house with him acting like the way he is at the moment and to tell the truth I think you have done the right thing by sleeping over your friends house a few times.

Also do you have grandparents you get along with, maybe they would love to look after you?

Absolutely right, you should get checked out by your doctor. If you feel in danger and your mum cant or wont sort it out you need to tell someone else, dont put yourself at risk. Maybe you have a teacher or councellor at school that you could talk to?

Yes, definately go see a doctor. And I would try to talk to someone about it. Your brother may need help, internet addiction is real, and he may have it. I don't think he was trying to hurt you so much as get the router back.

I get along with my grandparents well, but they're in Florida, and I don't want to just drop out of school. Mostly because I don't think I can.

Great! I'm glad you will go see a doctor As for you brother, one thing I forgot to say in mr previous post was that if he does anything like that again, you HAVE to do something about it. You HAVE to protect yourself.

Yea thats crazy Im so sorry about that,shit if i was in that situation i would call the cops. I hope your not hurt(like not serious problems),the best thing is to do is put him in rehab. What you just told us is very serious and harmful to everybody that's near him. Not to get u into more trouble but if i was u i would find out what he is doing on the computer,or hide his computer. However, u could get your a** killed,I don't want that

Definitely see a doctor about your head if possible. The longer you go without getting it checked, the more damage you could unknowingly be doing.

I think you've done the right thing by being over a friend's house for a while. But, well, the fact is, you can't stay away forever. This kind of behavior on the part of your brother is unacceptable, and something has to be done about it. If your mom isn't helping, you could even go to the police. Just do what you have to do to get yourself out of that situation. Your brother needs help, more help than you can give him yourself, and more help than your mom can give him. Just do what you have to do, because next time, you may not be so lucky.

I totally agree with Vogue your brother has some serious fuc%ing issues that need to be delt with, if your parents dont appropriately deal with it then i would contact law enforcement and send your phsyco brother away where he belongs

you need to go to the er and get xrays done ASAP this situation should not be taken lightly.

you should def. tell someone.
