While I don't think it should be allowed everywhere, I see nothing at all wrong with allowing nudity on public beaches, state or regional parks, hiking trails and places like that. People that don't want to look don't have to look.

However I wouldn't want to be naked in a restaurant, a classroom, or in places like that even though my family are naturists/nudists and I've been raised not wearing clothes at home or in the yard since I was little.

If there was a community that allowed public nudity on streets, I'd most likely do that if I was visiting or lived there.

I feel that more places should be welcoming to nudism/naturism but at the same time we also have to protect the rights of those who don't want to see it/want to be around it. Therefore, seeing a rise in naturist sections of national parks/beaches etc as well as a progression in culture to find naturism more acceptable and normal would be great but at the same time, I very much doubt public places where everyone is together will ever really be open for nudism.

There are places for it and there are places that it should not be.

I think we should normalize nudity in places where clothes are not really necessary (public pools, waterpark, lake... etc)

i like these responses! yes, most definitely - i wouldn't want to be naked in a restaurant either, or be in the library while there are naked people around me. i do think there should be some sort of guideline for where you can be naked, but personally i would love to able to sunbathe topless in the garden without someone calling the police.

from the bible-app:

Ecclesiastes 3:1

To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven ...

a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to break down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to count as lost,
a time to keep and a time to discard,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.

but I guess they forgod to mention:

a time to be clothed and a time to be refrain from to be clothed

Amen hallelujah ... or whatsappsoever

Yeah I think there should be more areas on public beaches and parks allowing for nudity. Of course in everyday spots like the streets, sidewalks, businesses, it probably should not be allowed for health reasons and safety.

If you want to sunbathe topless in your own garden then go for it. If someone complains about it, you’re the one who should call the police, they shouldn’t be spying on you in your own garden and if the police won’t do anything tell them how old you are. They’ll be round fast as anything to stop the other person looking at you.

In my opinión public nudity and social nudity is different.
Because in public that is meaning you are standing at front people that probably don't want to see you without clothes.

This ^^^ pretty much. There is a time and a place for it. If everyone was nude together every so often I feel that people would be better people (less racism, sexism, homophobia, etc) and they would have fewer sexual hangups and less body image problems. But people shouldn't be nude always imo.

I believe that nudity is becoming more common and accepted. There is no reason why we shouldn't be proud of our bodies. Nudity should be stigmatized. It should be allowed in the appropriate places.

Yes we should but we should apply some restrictions and laws, create special areas for different kind of people. For example, I'm not fond of thought walking naked, showing my abs to some 70year old grandpas or grandmas walking down the street also naked or some fat humanoid. I would love to be naked with other naked people of my age +3-4 years and with hot bodies. Then yes, nudism should be normalised... My personal opinion but maybe someone agrees.

I think it´s quite normal to be topless or nude on beaches and on places people are tanning. I do it myself, but I don´t want to see nudity in a restaurant or in the Underground.

Nudity can be in special areas but I think at least topless should be allowed anywhere. If guys can go topless, girls should be the same. I don’t know why we have to hide our boobs. Bras are for supporting your boobs if it’s heavy and uncomfortable but if we wanna be topless it should be allowed like guys.

No it shouldn’t, I don’t want to have to see someone’s willy flopping about as I’m walking down the street. I think the public can be reserved enough to save their nudism for the privacy of their home

Exactly. What's fair for boys should also be fair for girls, even if some of us are shaped a bit different. There's nothing wrong with being topless, nor is there anything wrong with being naked if it's done in places where it's legal and accepted. When I visit Canada with my family it's legal for women to be topless anywhere, but you see it mostly on beaches and no one seems to care or make any issue of it.

But then don't you defeat the entire point of naturism? Don't you, by restricting practice of public nudity to those you find attractive and young, turn nudity into something inherently sexual and desire-focused rather than a natural state of being in tune with nature?
