Default Linux Users?

Anyone here use a Linux OS for their computers? I'm just curious.

I use OpenSuse 42.2 for my school laptop. It is my dad's old laptop, probably around 8 years old and has memory problems. Because of that, it can't support any recent version of Windows without being very slow. That's why I'm using Linux for it, since it can actually run on that computer at a usable speed. And because I'm too cheap to go out and buy a new laptop.

Not sure if this counts, but I have a VM running Ubuntu, although I haven't used it for a really long time, so I imagine it's due for quite the number of updates by now.

I'm currently in the process of switching my laptop over from Windows Server 2016 to a dual boot setup with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and Windows 10 (I might do 8.1, I don't know). I really enjoy using both Linux Mint and Ubuntu.

I'm sorry that I let you down.
I wish that I could say I'm proud.

I've tried it though not as my main system. I installed a 'Debian' Linux as a secondary boot on my laptop. It is working fine, but it needs some re-learning to get how everything work. I had so far little issues with it, and installed Steam on it, so most of the games I own work on it.

I've used various distributions of Linux. Mainly I run them through virtual machines but I have dual booted an old laptop of mine with Windows 7 and an old version of Ubuntu. I haven't used it in a while though as I mainly use my macbook nowadays.

I used to use it on my desktop several years ago, but desktop Linux is kinda trash right now so I avoid it.
My university makes us do all of our CS assignments on their Linux servers, so I use it quite frequently.

Other than that I still use Win7 (on the same computer I used when I first joined this forum, in fact...)
Next computer I buy will probably be a Macbook
