Question need to hide scars and new cuts doctors appointment

So I was doing so well but tonight I blew it I ruined my six day streak and cut four times on my wrist normally this wouldn't be a problem except I have a doctors appointment Tuesday and I absolutely can not have my grandma find out I've been cutting and since I have blood pressure problems they'll probably take my blood pressure like five times as they always do I need some way to cover it up or hide it because my mom will be in there with Me and will the doctor tell her if she doesn't see but he does any advice would be helpful plz and thank you

Do you have any bracelets that could cover them?

Meh. Just let um see they all find out sooner or later. If they do find out dont expect them to understand good luck.

I think your best bet is make up, nothing else will be able to cover them up while they take your blood presure

Besides make up, aloe vera gel can help the scars to fade but they wouldn't be completely gone by Tuesday. Ice cubes can also help with inflammation, again it wouldn't completely fade but it might be enough for you to pass it off as a scratch.

Could you make them just do it on the arm you haven't cut? I mean when they've taken my blood pressure it's just been in one arm so could you not specify that you want it on a certain arm by taking one sleeve of your jacket off and not the other? I mean the GP has taken my blood pressure over my jacket before. I don't know yours might be different. Also doctors alone should be okay. I've been terrified of this when I've had to have blood tests I have massive burns and scars from cutting on my arm and although the nurse looked a little shocked she didn't say anything about them and I hadn't even tried to cover them up because I knew her seeing would be inevitable. Just seem happy and make a couple of jokes and they should just dismiss it. It might be harder if your mum is in the room with you though, can you not ask her to wait outside?

you wont have to take your bracelets off. I wear like 8 on each arm, had my bp taken today and didn't have to take them off, never have.

use bracelets or make up, like concealor

I don't have blood pressure problems, but when I went for my annual check-up thing where you have to wear nothing but a thin paper gown, I had deep cuts covering my thighs and scars on my arms and just by dumb luck she didn't see them somehow. I tried my best to keep them hidden and it worked. Either that, or she ignored them.

Also, a few weeks ago I had an appointment with a psychiatrist and she had to take my blood pressure. I had previously told her that I hadn't cut in a while, which was a lie, because she said that if i was cutting, she'd tell my parents. I had cuts on my wrist all the way up to the crook of my elbow and I just faced my arm down and held it close by my side and she didn't notice them.

Thin log sleeve shirt. If they ask you to take it off say you are not comfortable. Thin shirts can have blood pressure taken over them. I've dine it several times. (They take ur BP everywhere you go for anything)

I have never in my life unclothed at a drs office. Never caused a problem for me.

Please excuse my typos. I'm usually on my phone and it has issues.
