Default asshole

i hate what drinking does to people.
my brother knocks on the door at 2am this morning so i got let him in,
hes shitfaced drunk, starts calling me a jerk and starts pushing me
i tell him not to touch me either get out or go down to his room so he keeps following me to the kitchen pushing me
so i puch him back and he falls to the floor really loud and stays tehre because hes too drunk to get up
my dad hears him fall and comes down stairs so my brother heads towords tegh door, calls me a bitch and yells that he hates me and leaves.
i was so pissed and scared that when he came back he would hit me.
this is fucked i shouldnt be afraid of my own brother.

Ugh. I hate what drinking does to people too. My dad hasnt gotten THAT smashed, but at my old house, his friend used to come over and they used to get hammered. And right infront of me, he was calling my mom a bitch and a slut, and telling her to fuck off. I was like 7 then. Just ask your dad to protect you (That is, if he is a good father)

See, now you realize how drinking affects you. You should have not let
him in. If he ever hits you, call the police.

From now on, just to avoid confrontation, just stay out of the way. I know it's not fair and I know you shouldn't fear your brother, but take precautions next time and if he knocks, just pretend your asleep. Whoever else is home can let him in.

That is a good idea, ask him when he wakes up, or soon after etc.

When he's sober, make sure he knows what he has done, and that it is really effective. You might say that it's not effective, but by the way you are expressing the problem it is very effective. He's your brother - he hopefully cares for you. Ignore it, but if it gets too out of hand, warn an adult, or some authority. They can help you!
