Default Frozen Members / Reporting Posts

Recently we have brought the Frozen usergroup back into use and seeing as it hasn't been used in a while I think it's only right to explain the details of it.

Basically being Frozen means you are temporarily banned. However unlike being fully banned Frozen members still have access to the forums. This access though is limited to being only able to read the forums. Posting, creating threads, sending PM's among other privileges have been disabled.

There is one exception to the above. Frozen members can create a thread in the VirtualTeen HQ. The purpose of this is if you feel aggrieved by being Frozen you can appeal to an Administrator. Threads of any other nature will be deleted instantly and the Frozen period extended indefinitely.

Reporting Posts. This is a feature that has been around ever since we upgraded to vBulliten and is a feature that is of great use to the staff, when used properly. All we ask is that if you see a post or thread that breaks a rule, or you feel there is a problem with it, please report it.

This is the quickest and most efficient way to resolve the problem. When you report a post a thread is created in a private forum alerting all moderators of the problem and also an email is sent to the specific moderators of that forum. So it is more effective than PM'ing a staff member or posting in the thread.

So remember if you see something that shouldn't be, click the little "".
