I would say, yes, men cry. I've cried before, and I'm not afraid to admit it. I bottled up my emotions for years, and that was not good for me. Letting it out helped me cope a hell of a lot more.

Well it's weird. I guess you still are a man no matter how much you cry.

Though, I personally never cry. (not since I was 10 years old)
And I kinda feel like there is nothing that can make me cry. I feel to heartless lol.
Maybe if I lost a close relative. But that's pretty much it. Wierd.

once at a party, I started tearing up because I stubbed my toe. then i started crying like a baby. (idk why.....) anyways, before long every highschooler/college student was crying like a baby.
It was a fun time lol.

but If somethings bothering you, letting it all out can really help.

I don't really think it matters what gender you are, crying is natural. It is a full release of all negative feelings and sadness, who cares if you are a "real" man?

Stop, that tickles!

I can be such a wreck hahaha. When I do cry, I like to be alone in my room and lie down on my bed in the dark. Maybe put on some Adele too

yes, although most won't admit it, almost all men cry. crying isn't going to decide whether you're a "real" man or not. and people cry for different reasons so nothing wrong with it.

Despite the faulty concept of "real man" and masculinity you could be completely masculine, 200%, and still cry. Let's say... x person had their entire family slowly tortured to death, x would have to be a sociopath not to cry.

I generally bottle everything up and don't cry but there isn't anything wrong with it. the times I do cry are when something has really taken a toll on me or when I've had too much built up. But the simple answer is yes, real men cry and thats nothing to be ashamed of.

I think it's perfectly normal for people in general to cry. Many times I feel like crying but I find it impossible to do so for some reason or other. Crying is better than letting all your feelings build up inside you.
