Default Hair spray/Nailpolish Remover on cuts?

Sometimes after I cut I put hair spray or nail polish remover on cuts to make them burn?

Does anyone else do this?

I'd wipe it with alochol pads to clean it and get the sting.

Oh GOD don't do this.

Neither are meant to go into broken skin, both will cause more damage, both impede healing.

Alcohol and peroxide aren't reccomended (perxoide less so because it damages good cells), clean with warm water and bandage properly

i clot the blood with a paper towel and then i use hand sanitizer, both for the burn and to see the dried blood turn from red to a darkish brown (yes it is weird)

I have done this several times, but it's not a good idea, I did it because I didn't want to stop hurting. I wanted to cause more pain. I'm sure you know this stings so bad. Please don't do this.

You need to properly clean them, look after them. If you cut you have a responsibility to yourself to keep safe, nail varnish remover contains acetone which should NOT be put on open wounds, and hair spray shouldn't either. Get some antiseptic on them look after yourself.

i used nail varnish remover once and a little time after this i got infected. kinda scared me into looking after myself.
i put it to you not to do it again, stuff like that is hard to explain, especially if you need to seek medical advice.

Please donīt do this, itīs not good for the cuts.

I used to spray perfume on open cuts when I wanted to feel the burn and pain but didnīt want to make another cut. Itīd calm me down and keep my mind off cutting.

Please donīt do it, you have no control over my much or how long it hurts for, and it can end up hurting for a lot longer than you wanted it to, and it can hurt more than you wanted it to as well. Plus, it says on the packet not to put it on broken skin for a reason.

Erm..not nail varnish remover or hairspray, i used to do it with Perfume..then realised it was such a waste of perfume.. >.<
Perfume would sting too..stopped me from doing more cuts..just made them more red and sting loads..:/ Stopped doing that now..just more cuts :/

I do the same thing with the paper towel and to see it change colour. Whenever I cut I cover it with a paper towel, wait for it to dry eventually and then just leave it. As for the Hair spray/Nail polish remover I would advice against that as there is an even greater chance of infection.
