I do get it quite bad, when i do though there really isn't much of a reason for me it just happens. Most of the time when i get it, i don't sleep at all for days, i went like.. 6 whole days one time

Be not afraid of greatness; some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.

just to clarify insomnia is not sleeping at all. Sleeping only a few hours a night is a different condition entirely.

^ Like I had clarified before, insomnia is a very large umbrella actually. A lot of people say it's just not sleeping at all. The actual diagnostic criteria says differently.

And I'm sorry I didn't build your walls. And I'm sorry I had to go and fall.
And I'm sorry I had the whole thing wrong. Well, I guess I'm the sorriest of all.
And I'm sorry that you are feeling small. And I'm sorry that I'm not used to crawling.
And I'm sorry the writing's on the wall. Well, I guess I'm the sorriest of all.

My insomnia usually keeps me up 4~5 days before I'm exhausted and pass out.
It gives me so much free time to do what I want.

Reason you most likely feel like this is because you don't want to waste away part of your life when you are asleep. Some people feel this way, but yet believe it or not you can have a result of "productiveness." When sleeping. This is called creative dreams, which can actually bring up new ideas or solutions to things. Thomas Edison is a good example, he would often take naps and have creative dreams, write down things he dreamed about, and make a new invention off of that dream.

What is insomnia?

"I look up to sheriffs deputies/police officers, they put their lives on the line for us every single day, some even having their lives taken from them. Someday I hope to be a Sheriffs Deputy for my local department so that I can give back what they've been giving me for over 15 years now." -James C.

I have that. I lay in bed for hours everynight, unable to sleep.

Just last night I tried going to bed at about 12:30 am and couldn't fall asleep until 2:45 am, and even then I woke up in the middle of the night.

Mmm... I love seroquel. I don't think I would have gotten through the holidays without my sleep meds. They just knock me out. I still don't feel rested in the morning, but at least I got to sleep. Though I forgot them one night, and I can't take them after a certain time otherwise I wake up and I'm still drugged It was the night before Christmas Eve. I didn't sleep at all, I was worn out after the party even before having our Christmas dinner
