Default Missing something

For the past one or two years it's become more and more apparent I'm missing something. I don't know what it is but I can feel a deep sadness because of it being absent. Tonight it has been bothering me much more though. I don't know what to do and I feel like it could be gone forever. I can't even tell if it was ever there...
I'm unsure what to say next. I sort of want to ask if anyone else.has felt.this before, I'm unsure what to say

Thisll probably end up being in the unanswered post section rip (TT)

Slowly and silently going crazy.

I get kind of the same feeling sometimes. Do you have what you'd consider to be a good amount of social interaction and friends/relationships?

Humans are social creatures, and being without social interaction for too long can actually cause us great distress and harm.
Even for someone like me, with severe social anxiety, it makes me sad that I'm not able to have that kind of interaction on a daily basis.

Does this sound like you at all? Sorry if I'm completely off-base

Yh, I have enough social interaction. I stopped trying to have face to face interactions as often as I used to tho... Now it's more voice to voice. I think that my friends aren't really a big part in this and I'm not in a relationship and am unsure if that is apart of this

Oh, I'm sorry.

Has anything changed recently? Lost a friend, family member, pet, hobby? Moved houses?

Nothing too new. Haven't moved recently but am sort of unsure if we will in the next while, That doesn't really give me any fear or sadness tho. I just feel quite incomplete, not sure what to do but no one can really tell a person what to do in this situation of feeling. (._.)

Deep down you must know what you're missing. Find out what it is and chase it!

I would like to encourage you to see a mental health professional. No, I'm not one that believes you need a pill every time your mood changes, but a good talk therapist might be able to help you identify that empty spot you feel.

Take care

I totally agree. And @hjhj I'm not saying this for any other reason. But based on some other threads and stuff. Seems like you got a lot happening and you might feel really overwhelmed with it all. Maybe not sure how to handle it all. Just my opinion.

Hooking up with a good talking doctor can make a huge difference for you. Maybe not to, but why not give it a try huh?

I'm ok rn, don't feel as much missing as a week or two ago. Got a friend to join VT but idk how long that'll last. The blank spot is closing up so it's not as bad now.

And that's good. But that "black spot" will never go away completely. It my come back and be bigger. Wouldn't it be better to know more about that spot now rather than wait till it's a problem again?

I have figured out what the missing thing is. (No I'm not.just dismissing it) I wish not to speak of what it is for personal reasons...
I hope the best of luck to anyone who feels the missing pit in theirselves. You can find it tho it may take time.

Maybe u r striving for perfection in ur life and
asking too much of urself and u find that u r not
getting an approval from people. That could b what
u feel u r missing. This could also b a form of nerves
or depression. If u feel u r not interested in things and
u have an empty feeling of not caring for urself then it
would b best to talk to someone who maybe can help u
sort things out in ur life. I think a lot of us go through the
same thoughts of something missing in our lives but one
should not let it get a hold of us. Maybe getting interested
in some activity in town or at school helping someone else
out can fill that emptiness u have.

Feeling similar again but I know what's missing. No way to force it to be filled or anything like that. I just wish I could have more control over how I need to fill the emptiness
