Think about the pros and cons. If everyone played video games 24/7 would any of us even exist. The game isn't going anywhere and I think that's where the issue is. You feel connected to this game too much as if other things aren't important. Such as education, health, exercise and just the fact that doesn't even sound healthy. Unless your getting paid to do it, you shouldn't be playing video games that much.

The point of skipping school is where the line is drawn. Limit yourself slowly to get over this. Play an hour less everyday than you normally would. Get a timer on your phone or alarm clock or whatever and once it rings turn the game off or start to abort. You should be fine, just start slow and don't panic. Usually video game and tv addictions go away soon.
