Do you want to convert it so you can let people listen to it on a site? You could always just use the QuickTime player so you wouldn't have to convert it
If you'd like to, use the following code:
<OBJECT CLASSID="clsid:02BF25D5-8C17-4B23-BC80-D3488ABDDC6B" WIDTH="320" HEIGHT="256" CODEBASE="http://www.apple.com/qtactivex/qtplugin.cab">
<PARAM name="SRC" VALUE="SOUNDFILE">
<PARAM name="AUTOPLAY" VALUE="true">
<PARAM NAME="CONTROLLER" VALUE="FALSE">
<PARAM name="TARGET" VALUE="myself">
<embed src="SOUNDFILE" target="myself" autoplay="true" width="320" height="256" controller="false" PLUGINSPAGE="<A href="http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"></embed">http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/"></embed>
There are a few things that you will have to change up to get this to work though... Anywhere the code says SOUNDFILE, replace that with the sound file you want everyone to hear. You can change the width and height values as well to fit it to your liking. Just to let you know, most of that code is only needed for Gekko web browsers (such as Netscape). The embed tag is all that is needed for browsers like Internet Explorer, Avant Browser, Maxthon, and so forth.
Anyway, if you just want to let people use the default media player, then simply try to Google "QuickTime to MP3 sound" and that should bring up some good results!
Good luck, Jen!
