Reviving somewhat old-ish posts.. I have that poxy installed on my webserver, you can check it out at http://jarred.brentp.net/scripts/phpoxy/

There are many other alternatives.. You could use a CGI Proxy, Google "The Circumventor" without quotes. There is a guise to install a CGIProxy software on your computer. Of course it doesn't go further into whether you have to open ports etc. But it tells you exactly what you need and what to do with it.

There's also a proxy in Ruby on Rails that you can use, but I only recommend it if you've had some experience with RoR. If you want to give it a go, PM me.
