Cory is just biased. Norton is the best in security. Even recommended by The Screen Savers (used to be show on TechTV). NIS provides both a powerful firewall and antivirus. Also, NIS includes parental controls, intrusion detection and prevention, worm/trojan protection (outbreak alert), an awesome antispam, and privacy control. If you have a good computer, Norton's start-ups will only take a minute (or less) to load. If you have a bad computer, then it would be much worse off with just one virus than with a few more start-ups. Oh, and the great thing about reinstalling it would be that you get another free year of updates As soon as you reinstall it, update it (restart if needed), get more updates, repeat until completely updated. Then you can configure it if you want
