Well, yes, he does get the presidential sallery, that's true. But that's not money from the war in Iraq, which is what this thread is about. Did you know that when the President has guests in the White House that are not part of an official government function he gets charged for the food and the use of the rooms? Actually they take all the costs for food and such out of his sallery when meals aren't part of a state function. When it is a state function like hosting forieghn dignataries and such the Governemnt does pay for it, as part of the function of President.
