I was forced to go to the doctor recently about depression and self-harming.

Because my Mum found out.

It's good that you actually want to go, and perhaps improve.

The only real things the doctor can do is diagnose you with a particular problem. He doesn't have any powerful magic wand to wish it all away I'm afraid.

If you are really depressed, he could prescribe you some medication, but that sometimes does more harm than good.

And if he feels that you'd be better off talking to someone, then he could refer you to a therapist or a counsellor.

It all depends on if you want to get better, and if you feel like talking could help.

I have to visit a counsellor every fortnight now.

Think carefully before you make any decisions, is all I'd say...

...And I find that life is easier,
When it\'s just a blur with no details to confuse who or what or where I was.
So when the ending comes, the full regret will seem obscure...
