Re: Best horror movie?
The orignal Halloween was pretty good, but I haven't seen the other two. Here are my choices (which, you'll note, were not on the list xP):
The Happening is more of a thriller than horror I think, and I normally am disappointed with M. Night Shyamalan's endings. However, I think it turned out pretty good, I actually found myself a little freaked out at points.
My all-time favorite would have to be Friday the 13th Part V though. I like all of the Friday the 13th films, classic slasher flicks, but Part V is always my favorite. It has a unique ending from the other 11 (counting Freddy vs. Jason and the as-yet-unreleased re-make), which is a refreshing change. I know the effects are outdated, and that makes it much less believable than modern films, but I'm a huge Jason fan all the same.

Do not offend the chair leg of truth. It is wise and terrible.
