setting a goal is good...it gives you something to aim for and then something to try to beat.
we all want to give in sometimes. but when you dont give into the urges, thats having courage. its also showing you that that is not what you really want to do...you are proving to yourself that you want to do better. taking things one day at a time is the best way to get on the road to recovery.
