Don't just hope, girlygirl, do it. Get rid of what you use to cut, and find something healthy to replace it. Buy one of those little 100 piece puzzles (small enough not to frustrate you, but it may still take your mind off of cutting), find some books that sound interesting, buy a season of your favorite TV show on DVD, and from now on, that's what you'll go to when you're stressed out and want to cut. Some things may work, others may not, but if you kep trying you'll eventually find something.
