I have the same problems. Try going out running everyday, I'm also kind of... yeah. But now, even 20 minutes a day, just go out at night if you're too embarassed. Got an I-Pod? Take it with you, make a 20 minute long playlist to listen to while running. You don't have to run straight for 20 minutes, just run as far as you can, rest and walk, and repeat until you feel too tired, or until 20 minutes are up. Try to increase the amount of time gradually every 2 months, 1 month, and finally, week. It'll help a lot.
